Playlist: Be Like Pablo’s Power Pop Mix

On the back of the release of their new single ‘There She Is’, Ewen Watson from Be Like Pablo compiled a ‘power pop’ playlist for us.

“My band members and I love high-energy, alternative guitar-based pop music so we tried to make this mix a reflection of that, pulling together our influences and some of our all-time favourite songs. All of the tracks can be compared, in some way, to our own sound so you’ll find a lot of our direct influences – like Weezer, The Cars and The Rentals – on the mix. In Scotland, the sun only comes out once a year so we need songs like these to make it feel as much like summer as possible. For fans of our music – or fun in general – this mix should be an absolute blast.”
