AC/DC Rocked by illness

Legendary rock group AC/DC have had a roller coaster week, it was announced at the start of the week that founding member and guitarist Malcolm Young was taking a break from the band due to ill health.

It was then confirmed that this was not the end of the Australian band, but those assurances have been clouded in doubt.

Lead Singer Brian Johnson has said he’s unsure of what will happen. Brian, 66, told the Daily Mirror: “I don’t know what happens next. We are just going to take it one day at a time.”

He added that they will at least get together and try and make some music.

He said: “It’ll feel nice to sit in the same room and knock a few tunes out. We’ll see where we go from there.”

It is rumoured that the 200 million album selling band have had to scrap any solid plans for a new album and their 40th Anniversary tour.

AD will keep you posted on the situation as it evolves.
